Job summary

MetLife National Accounts Account Executive role leads a portfolio of large, complex employer clients (5,000+ lives) within Group Benefits. You own the relationship, set strategy, and ensure delivery of integrated benefit solutions while driving profitable growth.

The position operates in a matrixed environment, partnering with sales, underwriting, service and product teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes for clients and brokers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5–10+ years in employee benefits, insurance, or a related field.
• Proven success managing large, complex client relationships and delivering strong client outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of Group Benefits products, services, and industry practices.
• Demonstrated ability to sell, negotiate, and close complex business deals.
• Active Life & Health insurance license (or ability to obtain) and required securities registrations.
