Job summary

Empire Merchants, a premier distributor of fine wines and spirits in the New York area, seeks a data–driven analyst to support sales and supplier strategy. You will analyze sales, pricing, census and industry data, develop templates, and deliver actionable insights to management.

Responsibilities include forecasting, ROI evaluation, and creating concise reports for business leaders. Strong Excel/database skills and effective communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to hold Solicitor’s Permit where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, census, pricing, and industry data to forecast outcomes.
• Develop and format sales reports and templates for management.
• Assess pricing changes and programming impact on sales and ROI.
• Identify market and brand opportunities from data insights.
• Prepare materials for supplier meetings with aggregated data.
• Create and refine sell sheets and presentations from data.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of analyses and reports.
