Job summary

Empire Merchants, a premier distributor of wines and spirits serving the NY Metro area, seeks a Business Analyst to translate sales, pricing, and market data into actionable recommendations for management. The role includes forecasting, KPI reporting, pricing program evaluation, and collaboration with purchasing, marketing, and sales teams to optimize inventory and profitability.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of financial or sales/marketing analysis experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in financial, business analysis or sales/marketing.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate steps to set up new Brands/SKUs with pricing and profitability data.
• Forecast sales and ensure inventory aligns with plans via cross-department coordination.
• Develop sales templates, track results, and prepare management reports.
• Analyze pricing programs and ROI, communicate to sales teams.
• Learn BOH roles of the business manager including gross profit growth and supplier budgets.
