Job summary

Health Care Service Corp. in Austin, TX seeks a renewal-focused professional to support Account Management in renewing clients. You will engage with brokers and clients, research inquiries, and coordinate data for proposals and enrollment sessions.

Positions require a General Agent license (or within 90 days), a relevant degree with experience in health insurance, and strong communication and analytical skills. Hybrid work schedule offered with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have State General Agent Insurance License or obtain within 90 days of starting in the role.
• Bachelor degree and 1 year of health insurance/health care service in a service/sales/marketing role with initiative and decision-making OR 3 years in health insurance/health care.
• Organizational and project implementation skills, phone customer service skills, presentation skills.
• Verbal and written communication to interact with internal and external contacts; PC proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives to renew clients within assigned book of business.
• Develop relationships with clients and brokers/consultants.
• Research inquiries received from clients and brokers/consultants.
• Coordinate research through internal contacts and operational teams.
• Respond with updates and resolutions to customers or company representatives.
• Coordinate meetings, including agendas and presentation materials.
• Attend client meetings, health fairs and enrollment meetings as required.
• Gather data and maintain databases; research and prepare utilization reports.
