Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a National Account Project Manager to align national accounts with branch operations across multiple locations in the United States. You will work closely with sales, branches and suppliers to define opportunities, establish processes, and integrate new accounts into the company's systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 3+ years in operations or project management, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and/or Mexico without a Visa.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in operational, business analysis, or project management roles.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Occasional travel – less than 10%.
• Experience using Coupa, Ariba and other third-party systems.
• Experienced in AR and AP.

Responsibilities

• Manage smooth transition of new national accounts to multiple Victory Packaging branches by ensuring invoicing requirements are clearly communicated, tax forms and other new customer setup forms are completed.
• Coordinate communication and implementation of customer service requirements at each location, aligning with contractual obligations.
• Analyze and monitor changes to business processes that impact customers’ accounts (ordering, invoicing, payments).
• Conduct audits for prospective customers and identify opportunities within customer sites for inventory management.
• Monitor AR levels for existing accounts and collaborate with AR, cash applications and AP teams.
