We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager with sales/business development experience and expertise in the Veterinary Medicine market to drive Synexis products, services, and solutions across specific geographic and vertical segments.

Our patented technology continuously reduces fungus, bacteria, and viruses from indoor air and on surfaces in occupied spaces. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving direct and/or indirect sales within the Veterinary Medicine market. You will serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned territory and or vertical segment of potential customer accounts. You will take ownership of exceeding an annual sales plan by identifying, delivering, and closing innovative customer solutions that maximize customer value and Synexis growth. Success in this role will largely be defined by the achievement of your sales plan, but other critical metrics will include, market penetration, pipeline development, customer retention, and channel partner development.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Take ownership of orders and sales growth and achievement of annual sales plan through new/existing customers and channels in a geography/vertical
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring sustainable growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Leverage value-based selling techniques to articulate Synexis’ benefits and close high-impact deals.
  • Own the overall sales process through value selling, negotiation, order closure, and cash collection.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and segmentation to identify high-potential direct and indirect solutions for the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health markets.
  • Identify and pursue new partnerships, distributors, and channels to enhance market reach.
  • Continuously refine Synexis’ value proposition based on customer feedback and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align sales efforts with business and vertical objectives.
  • Support execution of strategic initiatives, including pilots, distributor agreements, and market expansion efforts.
  • Ensure all customer interactions and opportunities are accurately documented in CRM and ERP tools for visibility and efficiency.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing insights to influence Synexis’ product roadmap and innovation strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or market strategy roles, within the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health markets
  • Strong ability to generate demand, build relationships, and close deals in complex sales environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing market strategies to drive growth.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, from frontline employees to executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales management systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for client meetings, industry events, and market development.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in indoor environmental/air quality or general decontamination.
  • Strong contract negotiation and strategic partnership development skills.
