Futron Incorporated is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support the NASA SEWP contract in the DC metro area. You’ll review RFQs, coordinate with OEM partners, assemble compliant quotes, and deliver high-quality customer service.

The role requires 1–3 years in inside sales, preferably in federal IT or gov contracting. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years inside sales, federal IT or government contracting preferred.
• Familiarity with NASA SEWP or similar procurement vehicles is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with federal customers and OEMs.
• Strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Proficient with quoting tools, CRM platforms, distributor portals, pricing systems.
• Ability to interpret product specs into compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review NASA SEWP RFQs and customer requests for quotes.
• Prepare accurate, compliant SEWP bid responses on time.
• Source pricing and configurations from OEMs, distributors, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with SEWP PM, contracts, finance, and sales teams on pricing.
• Ensure quotes meet SEWP rules, category requirements, and portal guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, follow-ups, and communications.
• Communicate requirements and updates to customers proactively.
• Support order processing from quote to fulfillment.
• Assist with SEWP catalog updates and data maintenance on portal.
• Use automation tools to speed bid responses and consistency.
• Monitor SEWP RFQ trends for upsell and growth opportunities.
• Support BD and program leadership with reporting and insights.
