Job summary

Shafer Vineyards in Napa Valley seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial reporting for the winery, consolidations, and earnings analysis. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will ensure GAAP-compliant statements and accurate data across vineyard, winemaking, and distribution channels.

Use Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting, budgeting, and cash management, coordinating with external accountants and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including financial reporting and consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger integrity with journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual close per US GAAP.
• Prepare financial consolidations and reporting packages for headquarters.
