This full-time exempt role covers general ledger, intercompany activity, vineyard costing, and month-end close while partnering with multiple departments. The position requires a BA in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and experience with Vintrace or winery software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and ability to analyze financial data with explanations.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Word and ERP software.
• Experience with Vintrace or winery software preferred.
• Independent work style with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and prepare entries to general ledger for multiple entities.
• Manage multi-entity GL activity, reconciliations and journal entries for several accounts.
• Oversee vineyard costing and capitalization of farming costs.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and related party balances.
• Support month-, quarter- and year-end close and prepare reports.
• Assist with budgets, variance analysis and executive dashboards.
