Job summary

Heluna Health, in partnership with Los Angeles County DHS, seeks a Community Health Worker to support the OEND program and broaden naloxone access. The role emphasizes direct client contact, training delivery, and coordination across mobile units, clinics, and community sites.

You will engage diverse populations, build trust, and connect participants with housing, education, and health resources while maintaining strict confidentiality and accurate program documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in community health or public health settings preferred.
• Ability to engage and communicate with diverse populations.
• Strong documentation and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-reach and/or outreach to those at risk of opioid overdose.
• Connect and engage participants in activities and services.
• Deliver overdose trainings in various settings (mobile sites, jails, clinics).
• Maintain mobile units and ensure supplies are stocked.
