POSITION: Nail Technician
DEPARTMENT: SPA

Job Summary:

The nail technicians are responsible for performing quality manicures with detailed cuticle care, nail shaping, and finishing polish. The services offered must adhere to salon service standards while maintaining the cleanliness of work stations according to department standards and Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology Regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful attitude with all guests and team members.
2. Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing consistent quality treatments, manicures, and pedicures.
3. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of spa and salon services as well as products used in services, including their ingredients and benefits.
4. Oversee daily appointment calendar and ensure schedule flows seamlessly throughout the day.
5. Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism.
6. Check for schedule updates throughout shift.
7. Take guests promptly for all services.
8. Communicate service upgrades or changes to Spa Coordinator.
9. Properly care for equipment and products used.
10. Participate in retail inventories.
11. Stock professional supplies in dispensaries.
12. Report any service issues immediately.
13. Assist as a spa attendant when needed.
14. Report lost and stolen items immediately.
15. Maintain a professional appearance.
16. Check fitness equipment for safety issues.
17. Receive, maintain, fold, and restock linen daily.
18. Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
19. Suggest Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa to guests.
20. Suggest products, services, and experiences to guests.
21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Must pass a drug test.
2. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation professionally and friendly.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Willing to participate in ongoing training.
5. Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions.
6. Ability to grow clientele and suggest retail.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Obtain a current Mississippi Cosmetology License recognized by the state and local governing board.
9. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Work effectively in a team setting and independently.
11. Present a well-groomed appearance.
12. Adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
13. Be friendly and respectful to team members of various backgrounds.
14. Accept direction from Senior Leadership.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

1. Read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties.
2. Available to work any shift, including holidays and weekends.
3. Respond to visual and auditory cues.
4. Stand and walk for extended periods, at least 9 hours.
5. Sit, stoop, reach, and bend as needed.
6. Lift up to 20 pounds.
