POSITION: Nail Technician

DEPARTMENT: SPA

Job Summary:

The nail technicians are responsible for performing quality manicures with detailed cuticle care, nail shaping, and finishing polish. The services offered must adhere to salon service standards while maintaining cleanliness of work stations according to department standards and Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology Regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Offer the highest level of personalized service with a positive, enthusiastic, helpful attitude towards guests and team members.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing consistent quality treatments, manicures, and pedicures.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spa and salon services, products used, their ingredients, and benefits.
• Manage daily appointment schedules to ensure smooth flow throughout the day.
• Maintain protocols for setup, shutdown, and cleanliness of work stations.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Check schedule updates throughout the shift.
• Promptly take guests for all scheduled services.
• Communicate service upgrades or changes to the Spa Coordinator.
• Care for equipment and products properly.
• Participate in retail inventories and stock supplies.
• Report any service issues immediately.
• Assist as a spa attendant when needed.
• Report lost or stolen items immediately.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Ensure safety of fitness equipment.
• Handle linen daily, including receiving, folding, and restocking.
• Adhere to attendance guidelines and all policies.
• Promote Caesars Rewards and other services to guests.
• Suggest products, services, and experiences to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a drug test.
• Ability to initiate and engage in professional and friendly conversation.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions.
• Ability to grow clientele and suggest retail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid Mississippi Cosmetology License.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Well-groomed appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Ability to work with diverse team members and accept leadership directions.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Available to work any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Responds to visual and auditory cues.
• Able to stand and walk for at least 9 hours.
• Capable of sitting, stooping, reaching, and bending.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
