Job summary

• Ensure all equipment and products are maintained and used properly.
• Provide professional nail services, including acrylics, fills, manicures, pedicures, nail repairs.
• Provide hand and foot massages.
• Utilize and market all retail products to guests.
• Follow protocols with skill and adhere to local/state regulations.
• Project an image of friendliness, professionalism and personalized service.
• Set up, operate, clean and sanitize all equipment.
• Maintain adequate supplies of nail and massage products, including polishes.
• Adhere to the company's lost and found policies and procedures.
• Follow procedures for hotel safety or emergency situations.

The Nail Technician is responsible for providing professional and relaxed manicures, pedicures, nail repairs and hand and foot massages to guests in accordance with accepted industry standards. They are responsible for describing and promoting the services of the Spa and other resort facilities. A Nail Technician must maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff.

Job Duties:

• Maintain an accurate log book and schedule chart to ensure guests of the Spa are serviced in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and products are maintained and used in a proper manner.
• Provide professional nail services, including acrylics, fills, manicures, pedicures, nail repairs.
• Provide hand and foot massages.
• Utilize and market all retail products for guests.
• Provide all treatments according to protocol with skill, proficiency and following all local and/or state regulations.
• Project an image of friendliness, professionalism and willingness to provide personalized services to guests.
• Set up, utilize, operate, clean and sanitize all equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of nail and massage products, including a variety of polishes.
• Strictly adhere to the company's lost and found policies and procedures.
• Follow all procedures when responding to any hotel emergency or safety situation.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Possess required licenses for facial treatments that meet local and state requirements.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Nail Technician, preferably in a hotel/resort environment.
• Extensive knowledge of manicure and pedicure methods, the products used and proper protocols.
• Experience providing hand and foot massages, the methods used and the products available.
• Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner.
