Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a North America Shared Services Lead to build and lead a centralized team supporting critical transactional processes across North America. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and business leaders to centralize activities into a shared services model while maintaining business continuity.

The position requires strong leadership, process standardization, and experience with P2P, ERP systems, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ progressive AP experience, Shared Services, Finance Operations, or related transactional finance functions.
• Experience leading high-performing teams.
• Working knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, controls and best practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Workday Financials) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America Shared Services operations for designated transactional processes.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and business leaders to centralize activities into a shared services operating model while maintaining business continuity.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members; establish clear performance expectations and development plans.
• Manage the transition of in-scope activities into a centralized operating model, including knowledge transfer and change management.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery; monitor workloads and priorities; ensure coverage across Shared Services.
• Establish and maintain service level expectations, metrics, and operational reporting.
• Develop, document, and maintain standardized processes, controls, and operating standards.
• Support reconciliations, audit activities, and period-end processes as needed.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to resolve business needs.
