Job summary

State Street Investment Management is seeking a client-focused AVP to support North American clients and Client Portal activities. You will partner with Sales and internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience and coordinate service delivery.

The role combines day-to-day client servicing with portal optimization, vendor management, and driving continuous improvement. You will lead a NA-based Client Services team, mentor colleagues, and help ensure high-quality, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in asset management, investment servicing, wealth management, or related client-facing environment.
• Experience supporting institutional investors, consultants, intermediaries, or retirement clients.
• Experience with client-facing technology platforms or portal solutions is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Identify, elevate, and help resolve service issues and potential risks promptly.
• Manage client support activities including developing service standards and owning processes.
• Lead interactions with Sales and handle escalated client issues while mentoring team members.
• Coordinate with Technology and Operations to resolve portal issues and improve adoption.
• Oversee client reporting queries, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
