Job summary

Mount Nittany Health is seeking an Epic MyChart Application Analyst to join our IT Clinical Applications team in State College, PA. You will analyze, design, build, test, and maintain Epic MyChart and related patient portal functionality, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care excellence.

You will develop training materials, produce SOPs and checklists, and participate in upgrades and demos of new features, while serving as a liaison to users and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent required.
• Epic Certifications required within 180 days of hire.
• Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and their impact on technical solutions.
• Experience with EHR configuration and build.
• 0–2 years of Epic EMR or other EMR analysis experience; entry level.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, build, test, and maintain Epic MyChart and related applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient portal functionality.
• Plan, coordinate, develop and provide training materials and user checklists.
• Assist in upgrades, Nova note builds, testing and demos of new functionality.
• Serve as liaison with user community and vendor.
• Document SOPs and continuity workbooks.
• Participate in department/hospital task forces and on-call rotation.
