Mount Nittany Health is seeking an Epic MyChart Application Analyst to join our IT Clinical Applications team in State College, PA. You will analyze, design, build, test, and maintain Epic MyChart and related patient portal functionality, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care excellence.
You will develop training materials, produce SOPs and checklists, and participate in upgrades and demos of new features, while serving as a liaison to users and vendors.
The Epic MyChart Application Analyst is a highly technical, fast‑paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Epic MyChart System Analyst supports the functionality of the patient portal under the minimal supervision of a manager or director and according to established policy and procedures. The MyChart Analyst performs complex system analysis, design, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance and planning of assigned applications and/or projects. Directly interacts with assigned department managers and staff to provide automation services in support of the department’s strategic and operational objectives. Plans, coordinates, develops and provides appropriate training for managers and users. Ensures development of training materials, production of continuity workbooks, documentation of standard operating procedures and user checklists. Assists in all upgrade/updates, NOVA note build, testing, and demos of new functionality. Serves as the contact and liaison with user community and vendor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Mount Nittany Health. Participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet the group objectives. Off‑hours work and participation in on‑call rotation are required.
