Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an Application Analyst and Developer - Epic MyChart to support patient access and digital engagement technologies. The role analyzes business and technical requirements, documents changes, and supports Epic MyChart and related patient experience solutions.

Responsibilities include architecture and implementation support, monitoring integrations, and contributing to major Epic initiatives. A collaborative team environment and 24x7 on-call rotation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years IT analysis, application support, or related healthcare tech role; Epic MyChart preferred.
• Experience coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application changes.
• Working knowledge of programming languages; XML, CSS, .NET, SQL or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience documenting technical specifications and support materials.
• Experience in full project lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements for changes and design corresponding system solutions.
• Configure, test, deploy and support application functionality.
• Perform unit testing and assist with end-to-end testing and data requirements.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
• Develop technical specifications and evaluate options with business partners.
• Support third-party software, coordinate upgrades and installations.
• Identify process improvements for reliability and performance.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to team members.
• Assist with audits and compliance activities as needed.
