Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks an MV SWGR NPDI Project Manager IEEE AIS to lead product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear product line in the Americas. The role follows the NPDI framework and collaborates with Product Management to bring products to market and phase out older ones.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications, reporting progress to the global director of product management.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering or manufacturing.
• MBA is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPDI processes for product development and phase-out.
• Develop product requirements with MV SWGR Product Manager.
• Coordinate stakeholders on feature scope, cost, and schedule.
• Support literature and launch materials with Marketing.
• Manage prototypes with operations to ensure timely launches.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing and finance for success.
• Report project status to executives and relate to the Vertiv portfolio.
• Ensure data loads for Oracle, PD Cloud and configuration systems.
• Work with Advanced Manufacturing for manufacturability and CAPEX.
