Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Manager for MV SWGR NPDI in the Americas to lead product lifecycle activities from ideation to market launch and post-launch phase-out. You will work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and ensure timely delivery within budget.

You will partner with Marketing, Sales and Finance to enable a successful product launch, while reporting progress to the global Director of Product Management. This role travels to manufacturing sites as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing in electrical industry.
• Experience in NPDI/PLM with cross-functional teams and project leadership.
• Direct experience with MV SWGR IEEE AIS/GIS and MV components.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPDI process from development to phase out.
• Define product requirements with MV SWGR Product Manager for data center and industrial markets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to specify features, costs, and timelines.
• Support literature and material creation for launch and support.
• Manage prototypes with operations to ensure timely launch.
• Coordinate with sales, pricing and finance for commercial success.
