Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a LV SWGR Project Manager AMER to lead product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear product line in the Americas. Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing in the electrical apparatus industry.
• MBA beneficial but not required.
• Experience with NPDI and PLM processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Ability to interface with executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional meetings.
• Demonstrated curiosity and lifelong learner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the NPDI process for product development as well as phase out.
• Develop the new product's requirements specification with stakeholders.
• Define feature specifications, costs, and delivery timelines.
• Assist Marketing Communications in creating launch literature and promotions.
• Manage prototype samples with operations to support testing and launch.
• Coordinate with sales, pricing and finance for financial success.
• Report progress to executives and interconnections with other projects.
• Load attributed data to Oracle, PD Cloud and supporting configuration systems.
• Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturability and capex.
