Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking an MV SWGR NPDI Project Manager IEEE AIS to lead product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear product line in the Americas. You will govern NPDI processes, work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with marketing, sales and finance to ensure successful launches and post-launch phase-outs.

The role reports to the global director of product management for the SWGR PL and requires hands-on

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing in electrical apparatus.
MBA beneficial but not required.
Experience with cross-functional teams to drive actions and outcomes.
Ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the Vertiv NPDI process from concept to launch and phase-out.
Collaborate with MV SWGR Product Manager to define requirements for new products.
Assist Marketing Communications with launch literature and promotional materials.
Coordinate prototype delivery with operations to meet test lab schedules.
Ensure financial accountability by coordinating with sales, pricing and finance.
