Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st shift to oversee assembly operations on the shop floor, read technical diagrams, and ensure production targets are met. You will work with machinery, perform manual and tool-assisted tasks, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, process adherence, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
