Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor to support the unit in achieving production targets at the Pinetops, NC facility. The role involves assembly of products/systems/panels, manual tasks with light tools, and packing integrated with production lines while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting diagrams, maintaining clean work areas, and performing quality checks. The work model is onsite with emphasis on safety and efficient production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/panels, including packing with production lines.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
