Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Operating machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Maintaining a clean work area and following standard operating procedures.
