Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor for the onsite Pinetops, NC facility to lead assembly operations, achieve production targets, and ensure adherence to processes on the shop floor. You will read technical diagrams and operate on equipment as part of daily production activities.

You will routinely perform quality checks, work with hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a hands-on manufacturing environment that supports the broader ABB Distribution Solutions division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
