Delta Electronics Americas seeks a highly motivated Power Electronics R&D Engineer for its Research Triangle Park lab in NC. You will perform advanced R&D, design, and testing on high-power, medium-voltage power electronics for next-generation datacenter and EV charging applications.

The role requires an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, hands-on hardware development, and strong modeling/simulation skills using MATLAB/Simulink, SIMPLIS, PLECS, and MathCAD.

Qualificações

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Strong knowledge of power-converter topologies and control.
• Hands-on design, debugging, and testing of power converters.
• Experience with digital controllers and high-frequency design.

Responsabilidades

• Perform R&D, testing and verification of high-power, medium-voltage power electronics.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to propose new solutions and validate tests.
• Maintain technical competency in high-power electronics for medium-voltage systems.
