Flatiron Construction Corp in Norfolk, VA seeks a Field Engineer - MV Electrical to lead field engineering on the I-64 design-build project, ensuring compliance with codes and contract specs, coordinating with crews and design teams to keep schedule and budget. You will review shop drawings, schedule, manage permits, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure utilities and lines marking before production.

A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years MV or MEP experience are required; a strong safety mindset and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Experience overseeing MV or MEP works.
• Knowledge of scheduling and production time management.

Responsibilities

• Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule.
• Collects and analyzes shop drawings, specifications, material requirements and project data.
• Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling; identifies risk elements.
• Evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections; documents daily activities.
• Reviews and approves daily timecards; coordinates with payroll and supervisors.
• Coordinates subcontractor work methods and crews as needed.
