Job summary

VAS, Inc. is seeking a Construction Discipline Engineer (Electrical Field Engineer) to oversee field construction activities, review designs for constructability, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and NEC standards.

The role collaborates with design engineers, procurement, and quality control to deliver safe, compliant installations. The candidate will develop work execution plans, hazard analyses, and permits, while leading field walk downs, material tracking, and site inspections to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with generating work execution plans and job hazards analysis is preferred.
Familiarity with discipline-specific codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Perform design output constructability reviews and verify field conditions against design output.
Develop/expedite bill of materials and track material delivery.
Create work execution plans, hazard analyses, permits, and review with the team; lead field walkthroughs and inspections.
