Job summary

Amentum seeks an MV-22 Mechanic II in Kaneohe, HI to perform organizational level troubleshooting, removal, and installation of MV-22 components across airframe, hydraulics, avionics and drive systems. You will document actions per 4790.2, IETMS, schematics, and directives, and train junior mechanics as needed.

Responsibilities include inspections, component repairs, wiring and hydraulic tasks, and ensuring accurate work orders and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Four years actual and recent systems experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of NALCOMIS reporting system to report and document discrepancies.
• Advanced knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Publications such as the 4790.2 Series and IETMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections as required by MRCs and directives.
• Remove, repair, inspect, troubleshoot, reinstall and replace aircraft parts and assemblies per manuals and procedures.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control on flight-critical components and systems.
• Complete final inspections and documentation for non-flight-critical components.
