Job summary

Heli Preflight in Kaneohe, Hawaii, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic (MV-22 Avionics) to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MV-22 aircraft, avionics, electrical, and environmental systems. Work will occur at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay.

The role requires seven years of MV-22 experience or equivalent (A&P/FCC), Navy Class C avionics training, and DoD CAC access. You may cross-train on C-130J and must qualify as CDQAR within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Shall obtain DoD CAC for access to flight line workspaces and critical systems.
  • Seven (7) years experience troubleshooting and repairing MV-22 or equivalent.
  • Complete Navy Skills Specialty Class 'C' for avionics MOS/NEC/AFSC.
  • Ability to work independently without guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and clean aircraft exterior and components.
  • Perform maintenance on MV-22 avionics, electrical and environmental systems.
  • Cross-train on C-130J platform as needed.
  • Inspect aircraft work and ensure documentation accuracy in MIM.
  • Interpret schematics and apply maintenance procedures.
