Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Mechanic 1 in Kaneohe, HI to assist with MV-22 component troubleshooting, removal, replacement and installation across airframe, hydraulics, flight systems and avionics. You will work under BMS publications and training, performing duties across several subsystems.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, and documentation; must learn IETMS and NALCOMIS; cross-train across specialties. Military JST noted; own tools required within 10 days.

Qualifications

• Three years actual and recent systems experience.
• Ability to quickly learn NALCOMIS reporting system.
• Familiarity with DoD IETMS and maintenance publications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspections and calibration of avionics and mechanical components.
• Support removal, replacement and installation of MV-22 components.
• Operate with Maintenance Control and document actions per directives.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and directives.
