Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II at Kaneohe, HI to perform complex inspections and maintenance on MV-22 aircraft. You will interpret manuals, troubleshoot components, and assist junior mechanics while upholding safety standards and operational readiness.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, ability to obtain DoD clearance, and readiness to work in a dynamic maintenance environment on the flight line.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years actual and recent systems experience required.
• MV-22 CDI experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain & maintain DoD Public Trust or SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, phase, calendar, and special inspections as required by MRCs and directives.
• Remove, repair, inspect, troubleshoot, reinstall and/or replace aircraft component parts and assemblies as directed by manuals and Maintenance Control.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, service bulletins and directives to determine repair feasibility and method.
• Assist and train Mechanics I/II and enforce safety standards in the workplace.
• Operate support equipment and maintain documentation and fit-for-service status of systems during work center operations.
