Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Music Therapist to deliver therapeutic music interventions within a patient-centered plan of care.

You will assess patients, implement soothing and expressive sessions, and collaborate with the care team to support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited music therapy program with bachelor's degree in music therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BT), National Music Therapy Registry, American Music Therapy Association or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.
• Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.
• Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.
• Document sessions promptly.
