Job summary

Qualifications

• B.A. in Music Technology or related program
• 1–2 years in music technology support
• Experience in higher education or online education preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site, on‑call, and remote support for music technology equipment and systems in labs and classrooms
• Conduct semesterly software/hardware testing and train staff on new installations
• Participate in technology upgrade projects and room upgrades
• Support events with setup, operation, troubleshooting, and breakdown of tech equipment
• Maintain records of facility usage and issues using FileMaker Pro and web-based tools
• Supervise and train student employees, manage check‑out equipment access
• Maintain lab protocols and ensure smooth operations across multiple spaces
• Liaise with Equipment Specialists and other tech teams for efficient workflows
