Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with recording and post-production workflows.
  • Proficiency with DAWs: Ableton Live, Logic, Pro Tools.
  • Experience in audio post-production with plugins.
  • Experience with live-streaming audio and video.
  • Knowledge of Dante audio networking.
  • Macintosh management including OS updates and software install.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and willingness to learn Workday/Box/Blackboard.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the music technology lab (15 Mac stations) and project studios.
  • Supervise student employees and manage equipment sign-out.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for students and staff.
  • Record and post-produce concerts; live-stream performances.
  • Support the Third Practice Music Festival and other events.
  • Research and propose new music technologies and equipment.
  • Develop and teach technology-based workshops on an ongoing basis.
  • Adhere to university policies and procedures.
