Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking a Studio Operations Assistant to support flagship recording studios and production suites. The role involves guiding students, maintaining facilities, and enforcing session protocols with a strong emphasis on customer service and professionalism.

Candidates should be current MP&E students (or have taken MP 212) with at least two semesters remaining before graduation. Flexible mornings/evenings preferred; compensation is an hourly rate of $16.45.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and clean all Production Facilities in the morning.
  • Greet anyone who comes to the Studio Operations office.
  • Provide guidance & technical support to students, staff and Faculty.
  • Help enforce studio policies, session protocols and procedures.
  • Answer phones and provide admin support to the office.
  • Assist Studio Operations Team on various tasks and projects.
  • Provide studio tours.
  • Engineer or assist special event recording sessions (CWP, FS, Visiting Artists etc...).
  • Other duties as assigned.
