Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support store operations by handling stock, shipping and receiving gear, inventory control and merchandising to planograms.

You will ensure products are well-presented and available for customers while performing cashier duties as needed. This role requires stamina in a fast-paced retail environment, ability to work weekends and evenings, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory control tasks.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Perform cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stock and merchandise according to a planogram.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling responsibilities.
• Maintain shrink awareness and control.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
