Music School Receptionist - TEMP (Northwest Austin, TX)

Northwest School of Music is seeking a fun and professional part-time staff member to help administer our music school. This is a temporary role for the months of July and August 2025. The staff member will serve as the primary point of contact for students, families, and teachers to ensure smooth daily operations.

The desired schedule is weekdays from 2pm-8pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greeting students and ensuring teachers stay on schedule
• Responding to scheduling-related calls and emails from students and families
• Assisting teachers with student schedules
• Performing general administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and customer-service oriented. An interest in music and music education is a plus.

Interviews are scheduled for late May and early June, with training beginning in July. Pay is commensurate with experience. A 401(k) with company matching is available after 3 months.
