Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Associate to support in-store operations, inventory control, and merchandising. You will handle shipping and receiving, stock merchandise, and ensure planograms and signage are in place to create a great customer experience.

Candidates should be comfortable in a loud retail environment, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work weekends and holidays, and use Microsoft Office tools to perform daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
