Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to support daily store operations. You will handle inventory control, shipping and receiving, cycle counting, and merchandising to planograms to create a great in-store experience for customers.

The role requires physical work in a loud retail environment, lifting up to 40 lbs, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. Beneficial skills include Microsoft Office proficiency and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control tasks.
• Shipping and receiving gear and items.
• Cycle counting of inventory.
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
