Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an enthusiastic music instructor to plan and teach music lessons aligned with Salvation Army program guidelines and Chad Smith Foundation expectations. You will assemble syllabi, coordinate recitals, and conduct sessions across age groups 9–18, typically in 35- or 50-minute blocks, on scheduled days.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles semester-long curriculum syllabus according to selected instrument or vocal.
  • Coordinates recitals and performances for advanced classes and Jam sessions.
  • Conducts music lessons for beginner/intermediate levels (35-minute sessions) and advanced/Jam sessions (50-minute sessions).
  • Maintains a safe, neat, and organized workspace.
  • Completes CSF lesson reporting and intake forms, including attendance and engagement tracking.

Education
