Job summary

A24 is seeking a Temporary Music Clearance & Operations Specialist to support music clearance and operational needs across marketing and film during a maternity leave coverage period.

This is a hybrid position requiring in-person work 3 to 4 days a week in our West Hollywood, CA office, with responsibilities spanning calendars, negotiations, and asset management. The role offers an hourly rate and potential benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of music licensing/clearance with a strong focus on project management and tracking.
• Strong negotiation with major labels and publishers.
• Excellent organization and communication; discreet with high-profile artists.

Responsibilities

• Manage the clearance calendar and coordinate timelines with Creative Marketing leads.
• Coordinate with music supervisors on edits and versioning.
• Clearance for trailer, promo, and social assets across tracks, remixes, and SFX.
• Research rights holders and ownership splits; negotiate within budget.
• Track budgets and clearance status in AirTable; follow up with rights holders.
• Circulate final confirmations to internal teams and partners for approval.
