Qualifikationen

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
• Experience with historic and/or cultural or community sites is preferred.
• Experience in visitor and customer service, event rentals, and public programming preferred.
• Attention to detail is important.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties, including custodial tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, via phone, email and in person.
• Experience giving tours is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Open and close museum, supervise visitor safety, and manage the facility during shift.
• Welcome visitors and provide information about the historic site, tours, and NOVA Parks.
• Handle admissions and museum shop merchandise sales; process cash drawers and daily deposits.
• Respond to rental inquiries, position signage, enforce policies, and staff rentals/events.
• Promote programs and process reservations and payments; staff programs and events.
• Conduct daily tours; stay current with research and attend trainings.
