Job summary

The Arizona Museum of Natural History is recruiting two part-time, non-benefited Guest Experience Associate positions. The role involves welcoming visitors, providing information on activities, admissions, and safety, and assisting with exhibits and events.

Work includes weekend and holiday shifts; employees must provide their own transportation to the museum and participate in exhibit setup and tear-down as needed. Prior clerical and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of office clerical experience using a PC and typing.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service/public contact work is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the general public to provide information on activities, programming, rules, and participation.
• Attend exhibit-based training and ensure safety and cleanliness of galleries and activity areas.
• Handle museum admissions and cash; maintain related records and secure gallery areas.
• Assist with set-up/tear-down of exhibits and special events as needed.
