Job summary

The Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time Museum Store Sales Associate to join our gifted team. You will provide friendly, attentive service to our diverse guests while assisting in daily store operations and processing transactions for up to 20 hours per week.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma or GED and have 1–3 years of retail/sales experience, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends in a hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to museum guests.
• Greeting and engaging our diverse clientele, assisting in their selection process to ensure a memorable experience.
• Performing the various sales and register transactions.
• Facilitating mail orders from our website.
• Routinely organizing, straightening, and refilling product on the sales floor
• Support merchandising our retail.
• Assists with back-stock organization to safeguard inventory.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
• Interact professionally as part of a team.
• Promote exhibits and memberships.
