The Museum of The Bible Inc in Washington, DC is seeking a Living History Interpreter II - Part Time Actor to bring Bible narratives to life for guests in an on-site setting.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, interaction with K-12 students, script development for exhibits, and participation in training and program delivery alongside mentors and the Guest Engagement Manager.

Formación

• Associate degree (minimum) or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in History, Religious or Biblical Studies, Archaeology, Museum Education, Museum Studies, or Performing Arts, or commensurate experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform narratives from the Bible and historical events for guests using acting, storytelling, and education styles.
• Develop written scripts for characters as needed for exhibits or special events.
• Commit to two shifts weekly including weekends and holidays; interact with K-12 students and educational programs.
• Coordinate with mentors and the Guest Engagement Manager on scripts, rehearsals, and scheduling.
• Attend LHI meetings and trainings; contribute to presentations and programs.
