Zusammenfassung

The Museum of the Albemarle is part of the North Carolina Museum of History Division under the DNCR. This Maintenance/Construction Technician I role supports a 75,000 sq ft facility, performing cleaning, repairs, lawn care, and equipment setup for events.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and possess trades experience, with valid US driver’s license and special licenses preferred. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional nights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical/building trades or related fields.
• Valid US driver's license required within 90 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Maintain interior & exterior of 75,000 sq ft facility.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs; re-lamp lighting fixtures.
• Set up and take down rental equipment (tables, chairs, stage) for events.
• Maintain outdoor equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and chainsaws.
• Assist with troubleshooting HVAC, fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems.
