Job summary

Atrium Health Stanley in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. You will perform facility and equipment maintenance, troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical systems, and coordinate internal and external resources to minimize downtime.

Requirements include 5+ years of equipment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency with CMMS and building automation is preferred; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards; documents via CMMS.
• Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.) with coordination of resources.
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables) with resource coordination.
• Troubleshoots mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, piping, electrical, plumbing, fire doors) with resource coordination.
• Performs general maintenance in grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal; coordinates resources.
• Responds to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages, equipment failures) and identifies root causes; assesses risks.
• Responds to building occupant requests; conducts zone maintenance; communicates status of actions.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals to complete assignments.
