Job summary

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support the museum's physical plant. Responsibilities include assisting Stationary Engineers with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment, and maintaining vehicles and grounds for MFAH properties.

Candidates should have the ability to read logs, complete work orders, and respond to emergencies. A high school diploma is required plus maintenance experience preferred; a Texas driver license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance experience with boilers, chillers, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Stationary Engineers with HVAC and maintaining museum plant equipment.
• Maintains museum vehicles, grounds, and other projects.
• Reviews daily equipment logs for accuracy.
• Completes assigned work orders timely.
• Escorts E&F contractors to work sites and supervises work.
